Get a SimpliSafe camera/Floodlight !!

Almost every other manufacturer has this. It's a pretty standard part of a home security package these days. Plus, with as good of quality as you get on the doorbell, why does every other camera you guys make still have terrible picture quality and lack the wide angle fish eye the doorbell has. Everything else about this system is amazing. But why should I have to shop competitors to give myself a full security package. Why after years are your cameras still indoor only and such low quality??? Step up your game or another company will eclipse you.

PLease get a floodlight with the camera like RING. I had to buy the RING so i could have a motion sensor light and camera. You are losing a lot of money without this device!!

SS definitely needs to build Wired Floodlight security camera (at least 2k resolution) to replace existing floodlights !!! for improved home security. The Outdoor wireless Camera misses first 5 seconds - I've a notification, but I simply do not see who or what triggers the alarm !!!

@taeyu2011​ Unless I misunderstood your post, the SS outdoor camera can be AC powered (my two are and have been since day 1) and work fine. Firmware updates have improved performance signficantly but they can still be better. And, they do have built in spotlights. Yep, the ability to turn the light on and off via the app manually is needed...including the ablity to set off and turn off the siren.

Yes, no 2k resolution.

This is still a must make item. Integrate an ACTUAL wired motion floodlight to your cameras please

@dougsra65​ The Outdoor Camera has a Spotlight feature during Night Vision, but yes, we do not have a floodlight feature. A feature request for a floodlight has been submitted to our dev team for their consideration. Once we hear more from them, an update will be given in this thread.

I agree having a wired motion activated floodlight and camera combination would be so useful. Currently using 2 different apps for this.

Please add a flood light option. Studies show that bright flood lights can scare those trying to get in away. Ring has one. Just saying.

@sw1576​ We have submitted the request for a floodlight components to our dev team for their consideration, but we do not have any further updates. If/when this product is brought into development, we will provide an update in the Separate Floodlight Component thread in the Community.
