Entry sensor secret alert triggers cameras to record

I have sensors on our entryways to the house but the camera are not pointed at the entry ways, rather the paths to get to the entry ways. I would at the very least like the option to turn off all or individual camera recordings for secret alerts of entry sensors being triggered. I want the secret alert of the entry sensor to have a timeline.

Hi @tsimmons2796, 

Secret Alerts count as an alarm; so when an Entry Sensor generates a Secret Alert your cameras will produce a recording. At this time, camera recordings during a Secret Alert cannot be disabled.

This is so stupid. I should be able to tell my cameras to not record when I don't want them to. I am so over this system and their stupid restrictions. I'm ready to go back to ADT.

yes this needs to be fixed or alowed to be over rode for users privacy

There definitely needs to be configuration options for this. I don't need a recording of the upstairs when a downstairs door is opened.
