Base Station firmware updates are supported only through WiFi. Have you already checked that your unit is connected that way? You can check on the Keypad via Menu > System Settings > WiFI.
And it's a different topic, but since it sounds like you've also had your system for a while, I would also suggest checking if your system's cell connection to make sure it's been upgraded to 4G. You can find more info on our Help Center here.
@northerncooling thanks for reporting. It's been a whole day since then - are you still experiencing the same issue? And what is your Base Station itself doing now (what lights are on, etc.)?
