Incorrect Time Stamp in Alerts and Notifications

My Text and Email Alerts, Push Notifications and the Online Timeline have a Time Stamp for Eastern time.

However, I am in Central time.

The iPhone App Timeline has the correct time as does the both the the Online and iPhone Dashboard main page.

Where do I Set the Time Zone in the Control Panel?

Update: I called SimpliSafe Sat 27-Jan-2018 at 10:45 AM Central (15 minute hold - not bad at all) and Keith set the Time Zone for me - apparently there is no place in the new Control Panel to set the Time Zone - Go Figure

@SimpliSafe - are there any plans to add the ability to the new Console for setting the time zone?

Some people seem to be able to access an "older" App  and/or webpage with and "older" version of the dashboard where you CAN update the Timezone.

But, the most recent APP (iOS at least) and anyone who recently started using the desktop via a browser only gets the "newer" version of the desktop.

Not sure why.... but that is just what seems to be happening.......

Not sure why you no longer can update the timezone... but that just seems to be the way it works....  hopefully they change in a future update.

In the meantime... quick call to SS Customer Service will get you on the correct timezone....

These are the two login addresses I can use to access the old or the new dashboard. Why isn't everyone able to access either, or?? By the way using android on both my Samsung phone and Samsung tablet.

New:

Head scratcher.

When I log in from the original page I am immediately redirected to the new dashboard. After I'm logged in even if I use a link to the original dashboard (sample below) I am redirected to the new dashboard. Probably because I only have an SS3 system registered now.

So if you only have ss3 you can only access new dashboard? Wonder what happens when you have a ss2 and ss3? I am able to toggle between my two systems on the original dashboard. I will be ordering ss3 soon and converting my primary home system first. Going to be really upsetting if I have to log in to the new system and old system using two different login screens!

Anyone out there have both a ss2 and ss3 system your managing on one dashboard (new or original)?

Thanks!

My control panel is the same as Dave's, clicking on the "old app" just redirects to the log-in page I just logged in with.  I'm not using a phone app, I'm using my laptop.

rsgilbert, simplisafe did say not long ago, around the same time as the SS3 release, that the interactive control panel page would have a new design - so if you do buy SS3, you'll probably have the new control panel and you maybe will still be able to toggle your two systems, just on a newly re-designed control panel page.  When/if you get SS3, I would confirm with customer support (or here), to be certain your system(s) are set up with monitoring/activation correctly.

Hello everyone, thanks for posting!

We're aware of this issue with the missing Timezone option, and we're working on this. Thank you for your patience!

Bonnie, how difficult would it be to also, which I've asked before, to include a link to the forum and/or main website on ALL the new control panel account pages?  I'm getting pretty tired of having to log in and THEN having to open a second browser window just to access the forums.

And, looks like Order History page is missing....AGAIN.

Left hand side of the page, under the section "Monitored Address"

Last popup above "Allow Visual Verification" is Time Zone

I have my time zone set correctly under monitored address, yet my doorbell still thinks it is on EST. This thread is old, why is this not fixed yet.

It's annoying to find, but if you click on the menu icon, then select "monitoring," then scroll down and under the address (specifically under the name of your state) is a time zone drop down menu which you manually have to select the time zone - never mind that by inputting an address it *should* know what time zone you're in.  VERY ANNOYING!
