@buttonmill You can make your wife another primary contact besides yourself either on the web dashoard, phone app or calling support .
Sign into your account at the website by selcting "Security Dashboard". After you log in, choose "Monitoring" from the left side menu. Once it loads, you can add your wife's name on the right hand of the screen. Make sure to save.
If you have any issues, you can also call support, authinticate and then ask the agent to add your wife's information.
Finally, this can also be done on the phone app. Go to the "hamburger" menu icon on the upper left of the home screen, select Location Profile, tap down and select add primary contact.
You can only have one login now (but the same account can be on multiple devices). However, SimpliSafe is developing separate/multi-user logins (i.e., individual usernames and passwords). You can read more about it here, but the last update was six months ago.
Our account is in my wife's e-mail address, I have the app on my cell phone. We have a problem with the exterior cameras. The recordings cut off long before the subject is close to the cameras. Probably get about only 10 seconds of recording. Can we adjust the length of time the cameras record?
We have 3 SimpliSafe exterior cameras. When recording, we only get maybe 10 seconds of recording, the subjects are not nearly close enough to identify. How can we adjust the recordings for longer recording duration?
@Dianna The recordings are set time wise but suggest you call support to troubleshoot. How the camera is mounted (height, angle, direction etc) can all effect the motion. Some minor adjustments can greatly improve the camera's performance.
