Window sensor

So I keep getting this Error message “entry sensor not responding “. I have the system on a separate 2.4 router, and I’ve replaced the sensor once already. I’ve also relocated it on the window. Keeps happening. Any ideas?? Thanks Chris.

@opie4146 swap out the sensor with another that is working; if still an issue try moving the base. Still issue, call SS support to troubleshoot.  One last thing, see if there is anything electrical between the base and the window location, especially like a cordless phone, WIFI router point etc.

Hi @opie4146 ,

It would help to know that your system's sensors connect via a local radio frequency, and not through WiFi.

If you've already replaced the sensor once, and the same issue is happening to the new one, then we already know it's not a hardware issue, and is more likely something to do with that location. So we'll need to troubleshoot sources of interference.
