Check your add on sirens periodically!

Wife armed system in Home mode (@1AM).  Wife dropped dish, which triggered alarm.  Both external sirens failed to sound (we turn off siren on base station, because why would you want an intruder to know where it is hidden?).  Monitoring called me (sound asleep and phone silenced, because counting on the 140db siren 10' away to wake me with an alarm), then wife (phone not with her), then police.  Police show up and knock on door.  Wife instinctively turns off the lights and goes to get a gun (we don't live in a place with a lot of visitor's at 1:26AM).  After a lot of loud knocking and shouting Police, she (thank goodness) puts down the gun and answers the door.  Whole house search ensued, which of course I woke up for.  Bottom line, TEST YOUR SIRENS.  I fixed the problem by deleting them and then adding them back, but they never indicated any trouble in the app or on the key pads.  I turned on the door chimes to make sure they are working, but I don't like the door chimes, especially in the bedroom siren.
