Why are secondary contacts being alerted for water sensor?

According to your own help article- Secondary Contacts are the phone numbers that are contacted after emergency services have been requested.

Why then was all of our secondary contacts just alerted when a water sensor triggered??

Water sensors do not trigger emergency services and I immediately answered my phone when the sensor was triggered. How do we turn off them being notified for a water sensor? We absolutely do not want that.

Hi @brownstone8681, 

When a Water Sensor alarm has been triggered, your Primary Contact(s) will be notified first. If we cannot reach a Primary Contact, we will then reach out to your Secondary Contacts. There is no way to prevent Secondary Contacts from getting notified about these alarms. We list out the alarm sequences for all of our sensors in this Help Center article.

But if you responded to our monitoring center's call about the alarm, your Secondary Contacts shouldn't have been notified. I'll connect with our internal teams about this.
