If I upgrade my base station and keypads to Gen3, can I use the Gen2 smoke detectors I already have?

Hi @mriggin ,
The Gen 3 SimpliSafe uses a completely different method of communication, which enables a more secure connection and a significantly higher range. Unfortunately, this change also means that the Gen 3 system is not cross-compatible with components from previous generations.
