An update for this request: Critical Alerts for iOS, and Critical Alarm Notifications for Android, have both been implemented!

@dhyoung48 Thanks for checking in. What version of the SimpliSafe app are you currently on? We would strongly suggest updating to the latest version.

On iOS, you definitely should be able to find the Critical Alerts option under Settings > SimpliSafe > Notifications > Critical Alerts.

For those on Android, you can find Critical Alarm Notifications under System Settings > Apps > Special App Access > Do Not Disturb Access > SimpliSafe.

More info can be found on our Help Center page here.

@davey_d iOS v16.1.1, Simplisafe v2078.46.1 (which the App Store tells me is the current version). I'm including a screenshot of my Settings > SimpliSafe > Notifications > Critical Alerts. Could you tell me where on this screen I should find Critical Alerts, or could some setting somewhere else be the problem? Thanks.

Hi jrmaher44,

That's an excellent suggestion. I will forward to our dev team.

@davey_d is there any update on this? I’ve had several instances where I was not able to act on activity caught on camera because I keep my phone on DND overnight.

Add the SS application to "Do Not Disturb" Allowed Notifications. Create a contact with the SS phone numbers and add it to Allowed Notifications.

Has this feature of critical alerts on the app been added yet? This would be a determining factor for me in purchasing this system.

Hi folks,

And thanks @sbcottleb for asking for this update. Our dev team is currently working on adding SimpliSafe to iOS Critical Alerts. We'll have the update available soon.
