Base Station announce Component or Sensor by name
I know the base station can chime when doors or opened. In fact, in test mode it will announce which alarm is triggered. But is there a way for the basement station to always announce which alarm is triggered (for example, have it say "front door", or "patio door").

I have SimpliSafe in my store. I would VERY MUCH like to have a certain chime set for the Front door, and a different chime for other entries. Not having this feature has me peeping up to the front door every single time someone comes in or out from any door.
Please consider this another vote from a loyal customer for this feature. It would really increase the value in a SimpliSafe security system.
Thanks

Other alarm systems have an annunciator in their "chime" mode when the alarm is disabled. When "chime" is activated, not only does it beep but it says which perimeter sensor was triggered. For example, it would go "ding" then state "garage door" when someone opens the garage door. Since Simplisafe has the ability to announce which sensor is triggered during the test mode, why can't they incorporate this feature into the "chime" mode? When I'm home and the alarm is disabled, it's nice to hear the base unit announce which perimeter sensor was triggered, rather than just the "ding" and wonder which door was opened. A customer rep emailed me once stating that it sends a notification to the phone, but I don't think that's true when it's disabled. Besides, I rarely have my phone on when I'm at home anyway so would prefer having the base unit loudly announce which sensor was triggered. I don't think it would take a lot of lines of code to program this feature into the base unit.

Can the entry sensors please alert with the name assigned to it when it has been triggered? All I get is a chime which honestly is of limited help. Thanks

Crazy that a suggested feature becomes available only for Fast Protect plans and not for the basic plan.
