Alert if Entry Sensor is left open after X minutes
I'd like to find a way to set up an alert if a door is left open for a set amount of time. I want to be reminded if I leave the garage door open. Don't seem to be able to do this currently.

ability to set alert if entry sensor left open for a certain amount of time. Also would be good to be able to snooze it

For ease of development, you could just add an option on the device setting like "Alarm - Home and Away, Notify if left open" with no option for the user to customize the time, etc (just one universal time for the entire feature).

We should be able to setup a push notification if a door is left open for a certain amount of time that is configurable.

I am currently weighing a switch between SimpliSafe and my current alarm.com and Ring doorbell. I bought a complete SimpliSafe package during the 4th of July but I am having second thoughts due to two major issues I have found.
1) I have three young kids who constantly go outside to play and I currently get text notifications sent to my phone if a door is left open for five minutes. I believe I can adjust the amount of time as well. As you can imagine there are many times where the doors are left open and this is truly the #1 feature I use on alarm.com.
2) I am learning SimpliSafe isn't nearly as compatible with Alexa as it is billed to be and can only alarm the system through Alexa. Currently anytime our doorbell rings my kids run to our Alexa and say "Alexa show me the front door" and they can see if it is a neighbor friend and they can answer it or if it is someone they don't know and they ignore the doorbell. Even if I keep my SimpliSafe system I will be returning my SimpliSafe Doorbell.

+1 for this - PLEASE! I have entry sensor on my garage door and recently it was left open - all of our bikes were stolen (in the city). This would have prevented this ... please help and add this feature ASAP.

+1 request for this feature. Just woke up in the middle of the night and happened to see that my front door was wide open at least for last 2+ hours! No reason why a simple alert/alarm notification can’t be sent if a door is open for X minutes. Please work on this feature! Seems like a basic one that other services have and I frankly am looking into switching to another system if this cannot be solved.
