SS3 Screws

Hi, I currently have SS2 and was thinking about potentially upgrading to SS3. I use the screws that came with SS2 to secure all of my sensors (instead of tape).

Does the SS3 system have similar screws? If so, are the sizes and holes the same, or would this require putting new (albeit small) holes into the wall?

Thanks

@simplisafe_840 yes I do believe they are the same. BTW, the SS3 is a great upgrade and recommend you call SS and ask for an upgrade discount. At onetime they were doing 40%.

The screw sizes are similar, but the holes for my glass break sensors were not exactly the same as the older version.

If I recall, the SS3 keypad bracket holes are also different - and you might consider checking all the screws when they come, you might want to get a few longer ones at your local hardware store, depending on your walls, sheetrock, studs etc.

To anyone coming back to read this...the entry sensor screws were identical. The motion detector and siren screws are not.

@simplisafe_840 Great information. Thank you for posting. SS, how about adding to the help center?
