No power outage alerts after updating to firmware 2.10

Hi all.  Today, I updated my base station to the latest firmware version 2.10.  Now, I no longer receive push or SMS alerts when the base station loses AC power, and the base light does not turn red.  I still receive other alerts.  Is this a feature or a bug of this new firmware, or is it unrelated?  I tried resetting both the base station and keypad after the update by disconnecting from power and removing the batteries for five minutes.  Still have the problem.

As I read this thread, I think I remember reading another thread that Simplisafe put a 1 minute delay in the latest version.  I think they said it would reduce notifications for quick power blips.

Looking at other posts and found this from 9 days ago by david_d:

However, as part of our work with compatibility for the UL985 Standard, there is now a 60-second delay before the indicator (and associated warnings and notifications) are displayed.

Hi @Boring_Joe,

There is no bug with the latest firmware update that I am aware of. Have you tried removing the SimpliSafe app from your device and re-installing it? In prior cases when users were having issues with notifications, that has helped.

@emily_s I logged out of the app, uninstalled it, then reinstalled. Enabled the push notifications. I still don’t receive power outage alerts only, both push and SMS. I receive other alerts fine. This issue literally started immediately after I updated to the latest firmware from the keypad.

Prior to updating the firmware, I would receive power outage alerts, both push and SMS, whenever I unplugged the base station from AC power. The base station light would also turn red.

After the update, when I unplug the base station from power, the base station light does not change, and I no longer receive any alert, push or SMS, that a power outage has occurred.

Can you please check with Engineering to make sure this issue isn’t intentional behavior with this new firmware?

@Boring_Joe, this is good to know. I will absolutely connect with our engineers about this to find a solution.

@emily_s Any word from engineering as to why power outage alerts (push/app and SMS/text) no longer work with the latest software/firmware update?  This is an important feature we were relying on when we purchased our system.

I did some additional testing this weekend and it appears that power outage alerts still work with this new firmware except that they're delayed by exactly 1 minute.  I timed it.  With the previous firmware, there was no 1 minute delay.  Why was this changed?  I don't see a setting anywhere in the keypad or app to adjust this delay.  Is there a way to set it to be notified immediately of a power outage?

I have the same issue with not receiving power outage notifications. Started immediately after applying the update in Feb of this year. Previously I received both app and SMS notifications of power outages.
