New Beta leverages use of Home Appliances!!!

Late yesterday I received an email from SimpliSafe product development to participate in a new beta that starts within the next few weeks.  While being a SS customer for many years, this beta surprised me in the innovative approach to add to the "Layers of Defense" strategy through the use of home appliances.  

Utilizing a small plug-in IoT adapter, the sensor connects with the base in the usual manner and provides a flag when the appliance is in use. For example, a toaster on your kitchen counter, the TV in your family room, a light in the master bedroom or the Roomba in your den, when turned on, can be set to instant trigger to set off a full alarm state!
