Moving and Leaving Old System for New Owners

We are selling our house and leaving the older SimpliSafe system for the new owners and have bought a new SimpliSafe system for our new house.  I have some questions:

1.  Can we keep our current account or do I need to cancel it and start over?
2.  If we CAN keep our current account, do I simply remove all the old devices and then add the new devices?
3.  If we CAN keep our current account, how do I change the address that shows up on our account to our new address?
4.  Is there anything that I am missing that I need to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @jjaicks,

There are a couple of ways that this can be done. The first way would be to call our Support Team on the phone to have them deactivate service to your older SimpliSafe system. Once they have done that, you can easily activate the new SimpliSafe system through your Online Account by clicking on the activate new service button and following the steps from there.

The second way to achieve your goal would be to transfer your existing service from your older SimpliSafe system to your newer one. With an actively monitored account, this can be achieved by clicking on that same activate new service button and then choosing the Transfer Monitoring option. After doing that you can update your address through the Monitoring tab on your account.
