Connect to wifi message

At least daily for the past couple of weeks, I am getting a message on my app (only when I go in to the app - no text message or anything like that) that says "connect your SimpliSafe System to Wifi Network".

Sometimes when I check the system, it says it's already connected.  Other times, it wants me to re-enter the password, and then says that the network is not connected to the internet, as it is saying now. It's the same router/network it has been connected to for over a year., with no issues to speak of. It is a 2.4g, and I have only my simplisafe and a ring camera connected to it - everything else is connected to the 5g.  The base is located about 7 feet from my router (same room) and my outside camera is about 9-10 feet away (on the other side of the wall).  It's actually much closer than it was a couple months ago. The message gives me no information.  The timeline gives me no information.  Clicking the "learn more" at the bottom of the message gives me just general information about connecting to wifi.  I've tried resetting the router.  I'm running out of ideas.

Hi @katheek77,

I know you have already reset your router, but have you tried resetting your Base Station? This can help refresh its connection to your network. You can perform a reset by taking the following steps:

  1. Unplug the power cord from the Base Station, and use a Phillips Head screwdriver to remove the screw below the plug
  2. Remove the bottom cover and remove one battery from the Base Station
  3. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Reassemble the Base Station by inserting the battery, cover, and the power cord
  5. When powered up after the reset, the Base Station will say "Welcome to SimpliSafe"

Also, do you ever see this message when using the web app? I would suggest logging into your account here. If this message doesn't pop up, then this may be an issue with the mobile app itself. In that case, I would recommend deleting the SimpliSafe app from your phone and re-downloading it.
