You can also change the volume of the Base Station's Entry Sensor and Doorbell Chime in the SimpliSafe mobile app. You can follow the steps listed out in this Help Center article to adjust yours.
I was able to get the chime working on entry/exits when the system is on the "Off" setting.
I have read a few coments that Simplisafe has been updated to actually announce what sensors are being triggerred when the system is in the "Off" setting; however, I cannot find how to activate this setting for the actual sensor annoucements. For example, when I open my front door, I want the base system to announce "Front Door" or "Front Door Opened"
@uxsunn We do have a new Entry Sensor Alert feature where the Base Station will announce an Entry Sensor's name once it has been opened. Currently, this feature is only available on iOS devices—but it will be available on Android soon! It is also only a feature for those subscribed to our Self-Monitoring with Camera Recordings or Fast Protect™ monitoring plans.
