What's the error message that you're seeing? That might help us figure out what's going wrong.
But if I were to hazard a guess, you're trying to enter the Base Station's serial number to set up Monitoring Service. However, the system is rejecting your input because your Base Station is already registered to an active account. Did you already have active service before?
