suggestions: connecting to/disabling wifi, update notifications, help links

Hello. : )

1. looks like there is no way to connect system/keypad to wifi from the web browser application. (but you can from IOS app) It will show you if you are connected to a network, though. ?

2. looks like there is no way  *disable* wifi from the IOS app (only to select available networks) ?

3. suggestions:

a. provide option for Simplisafe firmware update notifications via email, for those of us who prefer to keep wifi disabled

b. include 'help center' options in drop down menu on first page of web site, instead of 'contact us' and then having to scroll down to them

Thanks!

Hi johnspartan,

Yes, there are quite a few differences in function between the SimpliSafe app and the webapp. Over time, our dev team have been working on merging the two. Eventually, you'll be able to do everything from just the SimpliSafe app.

Thanks for the suggestions, of course!
Firmware notifications could be potentially tricky, because when new updates are made available, we do stagger availability a little bit - both to prevent traffic jams, and also so we can limit the impact if we need to stop the updates to implement a fix.

As for making the Help Center more accessible - that's a very good idea. I can't promise anything specific, but we are constantly working on optimising the website experience, and that's one of the things we've thought a lot about.

But as usual, I'll be forwarding your feedback tgo the right departments.
