Several recent thefts near my home

There have been some break-ins in my area over the past several weeks.  The police believe it is people coming over from larger cities to smaller towns and residential areas.  No homes have been broken into yet - just vehicles that have valuables in sight or those unlocked.  A few vehicles have been even stolen when the keys have been left in them.  I've got the doorbell camera sensitivity set to cover my vehicles.  Hopefully, nothing will happen, but I do feel safer having Simplisafe to cover my home.  Simplisafe is like insurance.  It's something you buy that you don't want to use.
