Hi @amber_tedesco,
As along as the Video Doorbell Pro is installed in a space where it can detect and record motion by your front door, it being side mounted shouldn't be an issue.
We do also offer a Horizontal Angle Bracket that can adjust the angle of the Video Doorbell Pro 15° to the left or right - this could help make it a little more front facing. If you connect with our Support team, they can send you a Horizontal Angle Bracket free of charge.
