Outdoor Camera - turns on during alarm?
I have 2 outdoor Simplisafe cameras that I plan to move indoors. I just want to confirm that when an alarm is triggered, these outdoor cameras turn on and show images to the monitoring center, similar to the indoor simplicams.

Hi @JTDSsafe,
Yes, like our other cameras, the Outdoor Camera will record for alarm events.
If you have Visual Verification enabled for your account, then that footage will also be made available to our Monitoring operator during an alarm event.
One thing to keep in mind though is that at this time, the Outdoor Camera is set to be active at all times, even while the system is disarmed. So for that reason, it's not really intended for indoor use.

Thank you for the response. I plan to turn motion sensing off, so I'm thinking that will mean I'll only have to charge the battery 2 or 3 times a year.
