My outdoor cam records motion even when motion is turned off?? The only change is I put up my Christmas lights. Please help me understand

Hi @Skaras,
I would recommend toggling your Motion Events setting on and back off again to ensure that it is sticking. It can also help to reset your Outdoor Camera by pressing and holding the pairing button on the back of the camera for 30 seconds. Once you release the button, you will be prompted to set it up again in the SimpliSafe mobile app.
