Doorbell Notification Sounds

I would really like to be able to set different notification sounds for motion detection and doorbell. I want to keep motion detection notification on, but would assign a ringtone that is different from when someone presses the doorbell button. A good and loud chime for the doorbell button, but something more subdued for motion, especially since the motion detector gets me getting the newspaper or the mail or just going about daily business.

Possibly this is something that could be added to a new software release.

@SS - ditto!

I just installed my system today and absolutely endorse notification differentiation. I don't need to know about motion events on my doorbell, but do want notification when it is rung.

Please add this feature.

A doorbell ring is almost always time sensitive. Motion alerts maybe, maybe not. And alarms are also high priority - even if just to dismiss false alarm. We need the ability to differentiate between those events without having to look at phone screen.

I couldn't agree more with what has been said. I would very much like to be able to distinguish based on the sound I am hearing. Please see what can be done to enhance this for your customers. Thank You!!

Agreed.  Can't change sounds for different alerts.  Should be in the app.

I agree as well.  Just replaced the RING doorbell with Simplisafe because I have the SS security system. The SS Doorbell is ok, but not having different sounds for motion and the ringer is disappointing.  Usually, SS does better testing before releasing their products.  The doorbell notification sound is their second disappointment.  The first was a carbon monoxide detector that always went off line.  They have been aware of this for months.  Apparently, I am finally receiving a new one.  Hopefully, it works this time.
SS you should team up with Wyze cameras.  They are coming out with some pretty spectacular stuff at very reasonable prices.
