Doorbell camera mounting block

I am looking for a mounting block for my Simplisafe doorbell camera which will fit dutch lap siding.  anyone have a source?

Hi @meadows2134, 

The Video Doorbell Pro comes with a vertical wedge, primarily for mounting on angled siding. However, if that doesn't work with your dutch lap siding, I would take a look on Etsy.

@emily_s​ thank you for your reply!  I had looked on Etsy and found several mounts for dutch lap siding for other brands of door bell cameras but not Simplisafe.  I have reached out to one seller on ebay but he has never gotten back with me.  I was hoping someone else has had this issue and knew of a product, seller or a DYI fix.

@meadows2134 I might also consider looking at flat dutch lap mounting block (I've seen them available on Amazon and Home Depot). While it may not be sized exactly to the Video Doorbell Pro, it will create a flat surface on your siding that you can install it on.
