Need camera part

Need back part to outdoor camera. Does SimpliSafe sell parts, or do I have to buy a new camera?

Here is the picture of the part. They fall off easy and finally lose one.

@FrozenPlasma first, question: are you under warranty? If so, just call and ask for a replacement. Don't know? Call and ask. If not, you will be surprised how many parts SS does provide (many at no cost) for the various items they sell. Examples: the plastic different colored lock adapters for the doorlock, faceplates for the doorbell etc.  Please post your outcome here if you get a chance after you call.

@J2945Avl I suggest you call or chat with support and ask. One other consideration: if your outdoor camera is low you may want to get a secure mount.  It is relatviely inexpensive and will make the camera, if within reach without a ladder, to steal it.

I was given NO HELP from SS for the same exact part because I bought my cameras from Best BUY.  I just need this mounting cap.  SS will not sell it to me.  Now I have to throw away a $160 camera.  I thought SS was known for it's customer service.  I have spent over an hour trying to find an answer.... even tried ebay.

@McRae​ we are unfortunately not able to offer just the magnetic mounting for sale (we just don't have that part available as a separate item).

However, we do cover all of our products under a warranty, so we might be able to get you a replacement for the whole camera at no cost to you.

The standard warranty is for 1 year from purchase, but if you're subscribed to the Fast Protect Monitoring Plan, your whole system has lifetime coverage for as long as you're subscribed!
