Camera makes sound when it goes live
If you wanna see a live view without making a sound which the camera makes when it wakes up should also be provided. Sometimes you wanna see discreetly what’s going on. Right now there is no option.

Hi @ashmak and @moms2kool,
The click you hear when the SimpliCam's shutter opens during a livestream is actually a mechanical feature, not a sound that's played through speakers. What you hear is the physical metal of the shutter snapping back, which is why we cannot make it silent.
A workaround that others users have found useful is to keep their Privacy Shutter open when their system is armed in Home Mode. By doing that, there will be no clicking sound when you want to watch a livestream, because the shutter is already open. You can adjust the settings of the Privacy Shutter in the SimpliSafe mobile app by navigating to Camera Settings > [your camera] > Privacy Shutter and then set the shutter to be Open in Home Mode.

This is the only camera I have had that makes a noise on live stream. Besides it being extremely annoying…it makes it extremely hard to hear any live sound you need to hear. This actually defeats the whole purpose of the sound feature. SimpliSafe needs to come up with a fix for this very annoying issue. Unbelievable!
