Time/Date Stamp on Video Feeds?
I haven't found a way to superimpose a date and time stamp on the camera feeds. I've looked through the settings for the cameras and not found it. Checked both the app and browser interfaces. Am I missing something?

@Black_n_White Currently, there is no setting to add a date or timestamp on recordings or livestreams, but we have submitted this request to our dev team.
But when you download a recording from the SimpliSafe mobile app, the timestamp from when the recording was filmed is found at the end of the file name. To learn more, see the How to Download Recordings From Your Camera article in our Help Center.

Thanks for the response, and the link.
I am appalled that the request was submitted to the dev team OVER THREE YEARS AGO, and SimpliSafe has totally ignored it. I have systems from Unifi and Abode at my old home, both of which support time/date stamps by default. Based on that I assumed that SimpliSafe would also support the stamps, and had I known it didn't, I wouldn't have made the purchase.
How can this request be escalated so that this glaring shortcoming can be rectified?

PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE ASAP!!!!
I had a burglary accident and using your system, your footages can't even provide the time and date as the evidence!!
It's such a BASIC feature for security cameras that even the cheap non-subscription cameras all have that. THIS POST HAS BROUGHT THIS ISSUE FOR 8 months, AND WHAT YOUR TECH TEAMS WERE DOING BY IGNORING THIS!!!!! SMH!!! How could you claim you are “security” cameras and even claim the best company by missing that!!! I can't accept without this feature!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE!
