The SimpliSafe App is Temporarily Unavailable AND the web dashboard does not work

I have never been able to use the SS App or the webui dashboard to admin my system.  I have tried the app on multiple Android phones and the webui on multiple browsers on multiple devices as well as on the cell phones.  For the app I have only ever gotten the "The SimpliSafe App is Temporarily Unavailable" error screen.  For the web dashboard, I have only ever gotten a popup with  "Unexpected Error! An error occurred." with Cancel and Contact Us buttons.  After cancelling that popup and keying in my PIN I get a response of "Check internet connection".

I have gone over all this with CS multiple times.  Re-installed the SS App several times.  Confirmed I am not actively using a VPN on the phones or computers.  The last contact put me on an escalation list for a callback from another team, but alas no call and it has been over a month since then.

SS can see my system fine and the system communicates activity to SS fine also.  I am simply not able to use the system beyond the lowest level of a monitored security system.

I am about to the point of packing it all up and negotiating a return...  Any help beyond re-install/reset/no vpn would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @ishiiashani,

I'm sorry to hear about this experience! Generally, we run into these error messages when a VPN is running on your device, or if you are out of the country. I know you said that you do not have a VPN installed, so something else needs to be causing this.

I have escalated your case to our dev team to look into. A member of the team will be in touch shortly to troubleshoot this with you.

Emily-

Thanks for the reply.  I am finally able to get into the dashboard on the web and into the app.  I tested it remotely a day ago and at the location today.  I have not added the cameras back in yet to verify that part, but I believe all should be well now.

I never did hear from anyone to troubleshoot the issue.  I can only assume that a dev read the report and found the magic switch in my account that needed flipped.  All I know for certain is that I changed nothing since posting here.  But, not long after your reply it all started working.  So, TYVM again!
