Text Alerts

I have tried countless times to send myself the text code but I never receive the code. I have called and emailed more times than I care to mention (or that I should of had to) to try to get my text alerts to work!!!! When I called yesterday the technician sent me a text but I never received any alerts from my system. I have called Verizon and they tell me there's nothing wrong with my set up and that everything is fine with my phone.  I am so frustrated that this is not working for me. I can get email notifications but I prefer text. HELP!!

If your carrier is Verizon, in your online control panel, go to the alerts section, and instead of choosing Verizon from the drop-down list, choose "Verizon Smartphone".    If this doesn't solve the issue, call SS and escalate it to a senior supervisor.
