My login information

Several weeks ago my system was replaced. Starting to put in the new one I saw I needed to sign into my account. New computer system as the old one bought in 2012 died. On transfer of old info to new system all passwords etc were lost including Simplisafe. When I called they said they couldn't help me as I'd have to send a letter to Boston. I did on August 5th. Still no reply and still without use of my system.

So my question. If i set up my new system will the tower be able to communicate with your location without me being able to sign into the system? If so I'll set it up and just wait until I get a response from Boston.

Thanks for your help in advance.

@jray38 This is truly a case where the train has jumped the tracks. You bought a system and SS tells you have to send a letter to Boston? I lost access to my system late last week, will spare you the details, place a polite but firm phone call into SS support tomorrow morning, ask for a supervisor and have them get you back in.  Simplisafe has protocols in place to authenticate/confirm who you are, and should be used.

Please post your outcome here if you get a chance.

Hi @jray38

If you haven't yet done so, you should be able to request a password reset following the steps here for fogot password. That might get you back into your old account.

I want to make sure that we get you back into your system as quickly as possible. Because of the urgency of this, I went ahead and requested a call to you from our specialist team. They should be calling you shortly, so be sure to look out for that.

If you do need anything else, don't hesitate to reach back out here.
