Door Bell Notification on phone (android) Issues

Any suggestions here would be appreciated.

When I am working in the office and the door bell rings, I will get the notification on my phone.  I find that if I am wearing my earbuds when the notification happens, I cannot dismiss the notification without restarting my phone.  I tap the push notification, but the sound continues.  Even tapping the ear buds to dismiss does not work.

Even when the phone is otherwise muted, the audio notification will play through the earbuds.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Hi @rothfn, 

If you haven't already, I would try removing the SimpliSafe mobile app from your phone and then download it again to see if that prevents this from happening again. If that does not resolve this issue, could you please let me know the model of your Android and which version of the SimpliSafe mobile app you are running?
