Arming reminders...

I know there are plenty of fish to fry, but curious if SS is looking into the arming reminders function.

I have a 9AM and 9PM reminder set for one of my systems and still am getting a daily reminder for 9AM, despite that the system is and has been in the armed/Away state set in the reminder parameters.

Hi whoaru99,

So you're saying that you'd like for the Arming Reminder to recognize when the system is already armed, so it doesn't bug you when it doesn't need to. I'll add that to the list.

Yes, but that's already stated function of the arming reminder; "We will only send a reminder if the system is NOT in this mode at the selected time." That's a direct quote from the reminder setup screen in the app.

The issue seems to me like the system isn't properly handing multiple arming reminders. In this case I have 9AM and 9PM reminders on one system, both for Away mode. I always get a 9AM reminder even when the system is already in Away mode.

@davey_d any update on this? my use case is simply that I don't want it to send me reminders when I'm out of town and the system is set to away. Not only is this annoying, it's dangerous - if I accidentally click home one time, my system will become unarmed. So either an option in the reminder to only trigger when not in away, or a formal vacation mode (like in scheduling arming) would both do the trick.

Husband gets reminder each evening to set AWAY alarm..   How do I turn that off.

He gets confused & hits it, then motion detector sets alarm off. Prefer not to have that reminder.  It's already set when to go on & off.

@cricketone​ You can turn off Arming Reminders in the SimpliSafe mobile app by navigating to the three-bar menu in the upper left corner > My System > Arming Reminders > select your Arming Reminder > tap the remove button at the bottom of the screen.

How do I get the attention of the product team? Reminders should be dependent on what state the system is in! If you are on vacation (AWAY), it shouldn't be reminder you to turn it to HOME or OFF. An intern could fix this in a week.
