Yesterday, our mobile and web app had technical difficulties loading information, as we had an issue with the database which was stabilized quickly. Importantly, our 24/7 Professional Monitoring was functioning properly, so the issue was solely related to loading the app. As your security provider, your safety is our #1 priority so our engineering team worked hard to ensure seamless, reliable access to the app. We'll be conducting a thorough investigation to improve our systems and ensure that this doesn't happen again.
@alexandria_c I think you are understating the impact. Camera motion detection push notifications did not work for me during the outage. To me, that's just as important as the professional monitoring.
@vadim the issue that we had yesterday was specifically with how the app displayed account info. The rest of the service should be unaffected. So you might be experiencing a different issue.
Though one other thing that might be affected is the security token, which gives the app permission to send push notifications from your account. So it might help if you just logged out of the SimpliSafe app, and logged back in. Or perhaps, if you deleted the app and reinstalled.

I'm on day three after installing the system and same thing... app stuck on splash screen and webapp control panel is blank. It's connected to wifi with a strong signal and three phones in the house also have strong cell signals.
If I cannot control the system from my phone, this scammy crap is goin' back!
A security monitoring solution that goes down because of Cyber Monday sales is not a valuable solution. This is completely unacceptable behavior and frankly it's amateur behavior from any modern tech-oriented company. You don't cross those wires. Period. Strongly considering cancelling my monitoring and throwing these devices away because of this.

Down as well. Tested across multiple devices. Android, IOS, and PC.
On my Android phone, it's causing my device to crash to the lock screen. IOS hangs and doesn't do anything.

Its one thing to have one or the other down, but both being down is a pretty big issue.
I hope SimpliSafe has engaged their tech teams and realize this is a critical failure.

Down here too, nothing works at all. App causing phone to lock up as well. Had to uninstall app so my phone would work. This is unacceptable

My app appears to be working again. This happened during a heavy rain storm. Once it stopped, the app started working again.
