SimpliSafe app timeline updates

Hi team, 

I am a long time ADT customer and am in the process of trying out SimpliSafe to potentially switch over. A feature that I use frequently on the ADT app is the timeline. When comparing the timeline on the SimpliSafe app, I noticed the default setting is that it only includes major events like system updates, or alarm is turned on/off, and does not include entry sensor activity in the timeline like doors and windows being opened. This seems troubling to me as the timeline is something that I, like many customers, use regularly at the end of the day or after returning from being outside to see if there was activity in, say, my child's bedroom window when there shouldn't have been. After speaking to tech support multiple times, they figured out that the "secret alert" setting on the sensors will in fact add that sensor activity to the app timeline. Initially I counted this as a win. However, after turning on the secret alert setting, it then deactivated the chime sound on the base station - I assume this to be the nature of "secret" alerts. But the chime feature is also something that I use daily to listen for both expected and unexpected entry into my home when I'm in my home office. Unfortunately, now I cannot listen for that notification, I instead have to constantly check my phone for a text or email. This is extremely cumbersome and is not winning me over from ADT, as the ADT app is defaulted to have all sensor activity included in the timeline, as well as a chime on the keypad which you can choose to turn off if you prefer.

Is it possible for SimpliSafe to update the app in a future sprint release to include all sensor activity in the timeline as a default? This seems like an oversight that could easily be corrected and match what your largest market competitor already offers its customers.
