Picture frame next to wall-mounted motion sensor, ok?

Does anyone know if placing a motion sensor on the  wall next to a picture will interfere with the sensor's view?  The picture frame is about 1" out from the wall, but it looks like the motion sensor's white dome is protrudes farther than than and would not be obstructed in any way.  But it's hard for me to tell.  I kind of have the same question about placing the motion sensor on the wall right next to door molding that is about 1" thick.
