My front door sensor keeps saying it needs a new battery and I put a new one in and it says the same thing.

Do you think my sensor is just bad?

Where are you seeing that warning message? If it's on your Keypad, you'll want to clear out the warning manually. And if it's on the SimpliSafe app on your phone, you might need to refresh the app (by pulling down on the Dashboard) to get the latest update from yours system.
