Motion sensor too far away
Hi,
Installed a motion sensor in a garden room we've had built, maybe 75 get away from base station. Works when we test it in the house, but not when installed in the garden room.
I read that it should work up to 400 feet away... Is that nonsense and nowhere near the actual range, or could it be a problem with the sensor?
There's no massive thick walls in the way either.
Thoughts?
Cheers!

Right, the range of the sensors should be about 500ft over open air. But both wireless and physical interference can severely impact that - especially metal, or maybe mesh insulation.
