The Smart Lock’s PIN Pad functions similarly to the Keypad. For example, entering the Master PIN or any Custom PIN will disarm the system. If you enter your Duress PIN, we’ll request dispatch from the police immediately* (and disarm your system to fool intruders). 

The Smart Lock’s PIN Pad will not arm your system, it will only disarm it. This avoids the hassle of having to disarm your system each time you enter or exit the house. 

Pressing the Lock button on your Smart Lock’s PIN Pad will lock your Smart Lock, but it will not arm your system.

*Note: entering the Duress PIN on your PIN Pad will only result in police dispatch if you are subscribed to select monitoring plans that include 24/7 emergency dispatch.
