The PIN Pad functions similarly to the Keypad. For example, putting in the master PIN or any additional PIN will disarm the system. Putting in the duress PIN will alert the police as well as disarm the system.  

Note that the Lock’s PIN Pad will not arm your system, only disarm it. This avoids the hassle of having to disarm your system each time you enter/exit the house. Pressing the “lock” button on your PIN Pad will lock your Smart Lock but not arm your system.
