How to Use
Two-way audio works on all cameras in the SimpliSafe system.
- To speak, hold down the microphone button while viewing the livestream.
- To listen, release the microphone button to hear audio from the camera.
- You will not be able to hear the audio while holding down the microphone button.
If you are experiencing problems with your 2-way audio, please follow the below steps:
- Unplug your device and plug it back in
- Ensure your device is connected to the correct WiFi network
- Reinstall your camera using the steps listed here
- Please wait ten minutes after reinstalling your camera to allow for connection and updating
- If after ten minutes the camera has a flashing yellow light, it is having an issue connecting with SimpliSafe. In this case, unplug the camera and move it closer to the router.
