What happens when I put in the wrong PIN on the PIN Pad?

You have 4 attempts to enter one of your PINs on your Smart Lock’s PIN Pad. Starting on the 5th attempt of entering the wrong PIN on the PIN Pad, the Smart Lock will initiate a number of safety measures to ensure that your home is safe.

11-15	5 min	You will receive a push notification from the SimpliSafe® Mobile App No PINs are evaluated during the backoff delay Your cameras will record If you are subscribed to a monitoring plan with 24/7 emergency dispatch, our monitoring center will contact you
16+	30 min	You will receive a push notification from the SimpliSafe® Mobile App No PINs are evaluated during the backoff delay Your cameras will record If you are subscribed to a monitoring plan with 24/7 emergency dispatch, our monitoring center will contact you
