Glass break sensor won't open!

I've tried everything to open glass break sensor, even prying it with a small screwdriver. Nothing works. So frustrating! Keep getting reminders that the battery is low. HELP!!!

@simplisafe_admin​ this method doesn't work. I even put my freestanding sensor on a gripper pad flat on the counter for more leverage. Pressed in every which direction. Nothing works. I am tired of getting the alerts that I want to throw the sensor
