The base station has a countdown beep when you arm it.. can I turn that off or lower the volume in the settings somehow?

The base station has a countdown beep when you arm it.. can I turn that off or lower the volume in the settings somehow?

This should be changed to allow user modification. It is definitely a deciding factor on keeping the system or returning it.

I have a relative that has the same system I do (the newest one).When their system is armed and a sensor is tripped, it plays an alarm-like sound while the countdown to disarm is going. When my system is tripped, it just plays a beep every second or so during countdown. How do I get the alarm sound

Is there a way to turn off the countdown sound? It is very annoying and not necessary. Thanks
