How can I resolve the issue of my alarm not turning off when I use my smart lock?

My smart lock is set to turn off my alarm when I enter my PIN into my smart lock’s keypad. However, maybe 5-10% of the time, unlocking the smart lock with the PIN number does not turn off the alarm.
