I purchased Simplisafe outdoor cameras with solar panels as a SimpliSafe recommended replacement for their indoor cameras (with waterproof boot) due to their claimed superior technology, connection speed, and other features. What a misleading purchase. Cameras work sporadically and have a very slow connection despite my entire property being connected with wired AP's and a speed of 170 download and 70 upload internet speed. They are useless. DO NOT BUY THEM. I was told that I should sell them "Am I in the business of selling cameras?" - It's a bad sign and warning to all when a vendor won't take back its own product.
