@vin56 - most likely the same problem I had with two of the sensors. Firmware updates didn't help for me. Replacement sensors have been fine so far - I don't know if they were refurbed or not - doesn't matter as long as they work! :)

Both have been replaced and all is good. I have around 18 or so of these now for a few months and the rest have been fine so far.

I think these must be defective sensors as changing the batteries doesn't help, so it's not a dead battery or battery life problem. And it's not a location/interference problem - I can move them to another location and that doesn't help either.
