Outdoor cameras need to be within 50ft of the base station to work. Why do you not mention this is your product advertising? You need to make this clear in your advertising before people waste hundreds of dollars on a system that is unable to have cameras in both the front and backyard of a home.

Quick update - Tried moving my router and base station all around for a few hours with little success. It would connect initially and then disconnect as soon as I closed the app. Certainly a simplisafe issue. Just a bunch of scam artists.

Same goes for most of their devices , pretty lame setup IMO I would not buy again and I get sick to my stomach watching influencers push this junk because they got a free system

@captain11​ 50ft is just my guesstimate based on personal experience. Only going through one exterior wall.

I moved the router to approximately 15-20 ft and the camera still had connectivity issues. My router would need to be on my front porch for this product to work.

Don't make the same mistake I did and purchase this product. It is garbage. Absolutely terrible range on all products. I don't want more people getting swindled by this company. I wasted close to $1,000 and a lot of time on this worthless system.  Save your money or get something else. I
