I am a contractor with many years experience in the mechanical field along with a degree in electronics. I liked the affordability of your system and the fact I could hook it all myself. However my buddy has hacked it with ease over and over. And he’s a former employee. I really don’t like that at all and I’ve had to resort to some multi layer routers and password changes to prevent it. I’m not sure why I’m so interesting but I certainly don’t wanna be spied on . This is a major issue, your system is pretty cool but has some holes. I’m not a software guy but I do know my hardware and wiring. Since the age of intrusion has begun I wish now I had of learned more computer language. It should not be so easy to break into a system that guards your home and certainly not everyone is a hacker but you’d be surprised how many people know how. All they need is a smart phone and a Wi-Fi connection. I’ll never forget the night my system started talking saying a virus.
